On Dec 6, 2012,  at a grand well attended  function at Alkapuri, streechetana’s website  ‘streechetana.in ‘was launched by noted social activist Smt Sunita Krishnan. Mr. Ravinarayana Gunaje of Dhyeya Technologies, who aesthetically designed the website, was also present at the launch and he explained its various features.

The Seminar on “streepeedanathinte Purusha Manashastram” began with a welcome address by Smt K.T.Beenakumari. This was followed by the presidential address by Smt.Radha Iyer. Dr .K.S.Jayasree gave an introduction to the topic  and introduced the guests. Dr. Kalpetta Narayanan spoke on the issue and this was followed by the speech and audio visual presentation by Dr,Sunita Krishnan who talked at length about the cases of sexual abuse ,rape  increasing partially because of societal silence and the  fearful silence of victims . She talked of the need to bring such victims into the mainstream  by the communities.  Smt.C T.Latika offered the vote of thanks.
