As part of vocational training, on june 10th Streechetana started stitching class for women. First batch ended on 20th October. The class was led by Muneera Azeez, which was attended by five women. Second batch of this session started on October 2nd and it lasts for two weeks.
Streechetana membersvisited ‘Sumix Kids Wear’ at Mancheri, Malappuram and honoured the entrepreneur Smt. BeenaMuraleedharan who is also the ‘Micro Small and Medium Enterprises’awardee.
On the occasion of International Women’s day, Streechetana in association with Women’s study center – SreeNarayanaguru College, Chelannur, organized a training programme for students in jewellery crafting and fabric paintingon March 6th 2015.
