As a continuation of the adolescence development programme held at Achyutan Girls’ school, Smt. A.R. Supriya of ALDI urged children to learn to love themselves and become strong to deal with adverse situations in life by cultivating essential life skills. Headmaster Mr.  Pocker, Deepa. How to Face Examinations

Child lndia and Streechetana jointly conducted a session on Personality development. Dr. Anoopa Rani conducted a class on ‘How to face examinations” explaining all the factors with audio-visual aids.

Adolescence Health

Smt. Haseena, teacher from Calicut Girls’ higher secondary school spoke on the physical and mental issues faced by children. Smt. Shanta Govindankutty, Executive member of Streechetana, Remadevi P.S., Deepa .B, Bijina M.K. also participated. Student Representative Sumita offered the vote of thanks.

Self Esteem and Emotional, Social and Educational Adjustment

A survey was conducted among students of 8th grade using a prepared questionnaire, to estimate the levels of self esteem and self confidence in respect of social, emotional and educational situations. This is to be followed up for analysis and remedial action.
