Streechetana, a women’s forum started in 2006 in Kozhikode with a handful of women, has now become a visible force having established itself as a registered organization under the Charitable Society’s Act 1860 (Reg. NO: S223/08). It has made significant impact on the society with its noble vision and dedicated mission. We welcome like- minded persons to join us and help support our initiatives.

• Focus on empowering women for participation in socio-economic, democratic and cultural fields.
• Provide support for their self development.

Mission:

• To work towards equal rights and opportunities for women by creating awareness and disseminating knowledge percolating to all levels by providing possible help to those deprived.
• To co-ordinate training programmes to develop the personality entrepreneurship of women and make them economically independent.
• To promote education and life skills among adolescents that would enable them to a live a life of fulfillment and interdependence.
• To promote community health and sanitation by bringing attention of authorities to areas of neglect.
